The Observer is a self-funded, independent student publication printed on a monthly basis throughout the academic year.

Joining The Observer

Any member of the Yeshiva University community — male or female — can join The Observer‘s staff. Students can join the news as reporters, photographers, designers, copy editors, web staff, or business associates. The time commitment necessary to be a staff member depends entirely on the interest and availability of the staffer, and The Observer is always looking for student volunteers interested in contributing to the paper. Please note that all submissions become the property of The Observer. The editorial staff is free to edit as they deem necessary.

If you are interested in joining The Observer as a reporter, designer, photographer, website editor or copy editor, contact the editor in chief. If you are interested in becoming a business staffer, contact the business editor.
